CommandoHSC provides AI-powered feedback on HSC exam responses to support student study and exam preparation. The Service is available at app.commandohsc.com. Access to analysis features requires a registered account and the use of credits purchased through the platform.

The Service is intended as a study aid only. Feedback generated by the Service is AI-produced and does not constitute official NESA assessment, guaranteed marks, or professional academic advice.

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. Users under 18 must obtain parental or guardian consent before registering an account or making a purchase.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at hello@commandohsc.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

You may only hold one account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Access to analysis features is governed by a credit system. One credit entitles you to one full analysis. Credits are purchased in advance through our payment provider, Stripe.

• New accounts receive 3 free trial credits upon registration
• All credits — purchased or free — expire 2 years from the date of purchase or account creation, whichever is earlier
• Credits are non-refundable once used
• Credits are non-transferable between accounts

Credits expire two years from the date of purchase.

All prices are displayed in Australian dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of any applicable GST. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time. Price changes will not affect credits already purchased.

Credits are consumed at the point of analysis. Because the AI service is delivered immediately upon use, credits that have been spent on analyses are non-refundable.

If you experience a technical error that consumes a credit without returning a result, please contact us at hello@commandohsc.com within 7 days of the incident. We will investigate and, where the error is confirmed to be on our end, restore the credit to your account.

Unused credits may be refunded at our discretion if requested within 30 days of purchase, provided no credits from that purchase have been spent. Refunds for unused credits outside this window are at our sole discretion regardless of the credit expiry date.

You agree to use the Service only for its intended purpose: submitting your own HSC exam responses for AI-generated feedback. You must not:

• Submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, harmful, or offensive
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract data from the Service
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Service
• Share your account credentials with others or allow multiple users to access one account
• Attempt to circumvent the credit system or gain unauthorised access to features
• Use the Service to generate content for academic misconduct or submission as your own work in a formal assessment context
• Interfere with the security, integrity, or availability of the Service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account without notice if we determine, at our sole discretion, that you have violated these Terms.

The feedback produced by CommandoHSC is generated by an AI model (Anthropic Claude) and is not produced by a qualified teacher, NESA examiner, or registered educational professional. It is a study tool — not an official assessment.

AI-generated feedback may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. Marks estimated by the Service are indicative only and do not predict, guarantee, or reflect actual HSC results. You should use the Service as one resource among many, and seek guidance from your teacher for official feedback on your work.

We make no representation that the Service's feedback aligns with any specific NESA marking centre's interpretation on a given year's exam.

Reasonable steps are taken to monitor and identify issues with our API servers and third-party systems at the time of analysis. However, the nature of third-party services — including Anthropic's Claude API — means that on occasion the Service may not function as intended. By using CommandoHSC, you acknowledge and accept that temporary service disruptions, incomplete analyses, or unexpected outputs may occur as a result of factors outside our control. We will endeavour to resolve any such issues promptly.

All content, design, code, branding, and materials comprising the Service are owned by or licensed to CommandoHSC and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our written permission.

You retain ownership of the exam response text you submit. By submitting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process that content for the sole purpose of generating your feedback. We do not store your exam responses after analysis is complete, and we do not use your content to train AI models.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We are not responsible for any loss of data resulting from technical failures.

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, CommandoHSC and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or academic outcomes.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the total amount you have paid to us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. For material changes that affect your credits or account access, we will endeavour to provide at least 14 days advance notice by email where practicable.

We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

You may close your account at any time by contacting us at hello@commandohsc.com. Upon closure, any unused credits will be forfeited unless a refund is requested in accordance with our refund policy (Section 4).

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if we determine you have violated these Terms, without refund of unused credits where the termination is due to a breach on your part.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

Before initiating any formal legal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us at hello@commandohsc.com so we can attempt to resolve the issue informally. We will respond within 14 business days and work in good faith to reach a reasonable outcome.

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
